Part way down a steep trail branches off and descends to Flat Rock Point. At low tide you can explore the shoreline in both directions to various tide pool spots. If you walk the rocky shoreline south beyond Bluff Cove you will be in Palos Verdes Estate Shoreline Preserve which leads all the way to Palos Verdes Point where an old shipwreck is.
