For example if PC-players kick out a faction from a system, X-Box and PS4 users will experience this shift in power as well. And vice versa. But flying together with your brother on xbox and pc is currently not possible. #2

Balraw Jan 26, 2018 @ 3:19pm. No direct cross play as in Xbox, PC and PS4 won't be playing directly together. That said each platform affects the same universe afaik so events that happen in the PC version will also affect the Xbox / PS4 versions too and vice versa. Much like the folks who play in solo, private also affect the open world events.

PC and Xbox One players occupy the same galaxy, but not the same play space.
